Derived from a tree, this loofah is collected by the village women, hand cleaned and cut for your use. This product, that was growing in abundance, seemed of no real value to the village women until we started asking them to collect these for us. Amused, they would come to use to check what were we planning to use it for. We showed them what a rage natural loofahs are around the world, how they were used for scrubbing bodies, washing utensils, being the center of fancy soaps etc.
They are pleased that you are moving towards sustainable skin care. They might move too (the erstwhile fair and lovely is a clear favorite in the village).
