Lemongrass Ginger Tea
Made with homegrown lemongrass and sun-dried ginger, this tea is naturally caffeine - free.
Lemongrass and ginger tea is an aromatic, warming, citrus-flavored beverage. But these herbs aren't just tasty; they also offer a range of proven health benefits, as well as an intriguing array of possible benefits that are still under investigation.
Perhaps the best-known and best-proven use of ginger is to reduce nausea and vomiting. It's very popular as a remedy for motion sickness. Lemongrass is anti-inflammatory, anti- microbial and a good amount of research is pointing to it being excellent in reducing the risk of cancer.
While I doubt that our villagers know about the latest research but let me share that lemongrass is their staple 'gavti chai', consumed regularly, instead of the milk based chai we have in the cities. And I highly suspect that they already know of it's benefits, latest research or not.
HOW TO BREW
01. Measure 2 tsp of Prana Superfoods Lemongrass Ginger tea for each cup and add to the teapot
02. Boil fresh water in a kettle and add to the teapot.
03. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes.
04. Add your choice of sweetener (optional)
Other Uses : Can be consumed hot/cold. Can be added to curries etc.
